On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M Athletics as all sports seasons have wrapped for the 2022-23 school year. We look into track & field's finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and more.

Track & Field

The Texas A&M track and field teams wrapped up the 2022–23 season at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Austin. The women’s team finished the event in fifth place with 36 points, while the men came in 22nd with 11 points.

The women claimed their fourth straight top five finish, giving Pat Henry a total of 20 top five team finishes in his time with Texas A&M.

Softball

Texas A&M softball head coach Trisha Ford announced the signing of Arizona State transfer outfielder Jazmine Hill on Friday.

The incoming graduate student has appeared in 178 games, including 132 under Ford in her first three seasons in Tempe. Hill's career numbers include a .318 average, .631 slugging percentage and a .408 on-base percentage. Most notably, in her three seasons in Ford's program she registered 138 hits, including 30 home runs and 30 doubles.

Professional Aggies

Sam Bennett competed at the RBC Canadian Open this past weekend. He shot a 4-under par yesterday in his final round. This led him to finish 8-under par and placed him tied for 20th place in his second professional tournament.

Ben Keating (Class of ‘94) and his Corvette racing team were able to get a win in the GT class at Le Mans.

Austin Krajicek (Class of ‘11) won in men’s doubles at the French Open this weekend. This win puts him at world No. 1.
