These press conferences are SO embarrassing. The non-national media allow Jimbo to spend 1/2 his time mumble-rehashing a game WE ALL watched…And then lob him softballs that he can also mumble thru without ANY follow-up?!?!? At least Sumlin was upset after losses!
Jimbo is a mess, and so is the low-rent, mostly local media…same goes for you weekly "hype-boys" acting like we are worth a crap! Just run the site…its great! Your weekly "we should win out" roundtables, though, are hurting its cred!

Why don't you evaluate yourself Fisher??!! He THINKS the players believe in what the staff is doing, but at some point they'll wonder if the staff really has a clue. Perhaps that is already happening but the staff, especially Fisher is too blind or stubborn to see it.

I posted this in 2017 about Sumlin…..just replace Sumlin's name with Jimbo…. Fitting, isn't it?

It has been time for awhile. Sumlin's first year was a success because Manziel was able to create plays from the existing 12 plays that A&M had in their playbook. Sumlin's lack of depth in his offense clearly shows he lacked
the ability to coach in the big conference. The A&M defense was their savior.

Sumlin would talk after a game about what his players couldn't accomplish. It seemed like he never stepped up and took responsibility. The A&M players have INCREDIBLE talent, they just needed a coach. Look at what Bear Bryant did, or Nick Saban or Lou Holtz. They turned teams around who had the same players. Saban is able to be in the mix year after year even with new players..... why?

It is the coaching that does it. When you have a good coach, recruiting becomes easier and so does winning.
I am not bashing Sumlin, I wish him well.... He was just not the caliber that A&M needed. The only thing I will criticize is his statement about how he left A&M better than when he arrived which was a weak attempt at patting himself on the back. His conference record was batting 500...how is that better? A&M players are better than that, its just too bad the coach was not.

He had about 6-8 plays and everyone knows what they are. We are season ticket holders and every time it is first down, the fans Moan, "here we go up the middle again" Jimbo thinks that keep the defense honest about the pass….. but not if THEY KNOW what play is coming.

We need A&M to realize they made a mistake, go to the bank and buy out Jimbo's contract. They did not have to extend his contract in fear of losing him! It was bluffing! Maybe the powers to be should have honed up their poker skills!

Need to see what happens in the off-season first. Fisher has to be forever to hire a OC. If not then he needs to go.

Fisher is a freaking idiot, like Dumb af.

If we keep doing the same things in practice and keep coaching them the same way in practice, we're gonna have the same results on the field. The system is fundamentally broken.

His presser commentary is a recording on a loop.

We are paying the price for OL being diminished in regard to experiences over the last two years. Too many did not make it and some went early to the NFL. The plan to backfill or whatever it was did not work. Inexperienced OL is the problem. I do not care who is QB.

Next if the OL inexperienced, and is a fact, then design a system that is simple with some deception and get the ball to the play makers.

Next: Please have the punter kick deep. High does not matter. Short kicks cost us one TD.

Next: Have snap method that is simple, reliable and keeps our guys from illegal procedure. That costs us the ball several times.

Next: In the red zone get a play in fast enough so we have a chance of conversion or a TD instead of a FG.

Put prime Johnny behind that OLine and get the same results. No QB could be successful when running for their lives as soon as the ball is snapped.

We sure do have a lot of injuries. Who is in charge of strength and conditioning? Why are we constantly having lines depleted and key personnel out? I watch other teams and the same damn guys are in every freaking week.
