Spring Primer: Switch to four-man front changes D-line makeup

Pre-spring positional breakdown: Defensive Line

As the Aggies transition to a base four-man front under Mark Snyder, the defensive line is where you’ll see the most significant personnel changes over last season. Additionally, a couple of younger linemen will make the move from playing end in last year’s 3-4 to defensive tackle in the new-look 4-3.

Snyder and newly-hired D-line coach Terry Price will be asking the big guys up front to explode off the ball and into the opposing backfield.
