Though it may have taken a moment to catch on to what was happening, the Aggies really settled down and began choking out the Arkansas offense during the middle portions of the game. The Hogs' second touchdown came on drive No. 3 with 5:25 left in the first quarter. After that, the Hogs came up empty on six straight possessions and didn't score until there were just over 10 minutes in the game.
