King had a solid opening performance against Sam Houston. He passed for 364 yards and three touchdowns but threw two interceptions. All three touchdowns were on deep passes. Two went to Ainias Smith for 63 and 43 yards. King figures to often look for Smith, the Aggies’ most experienced receiver. But he has so many more options now. Freshmen Evan Stewart and Chris Marshall made impressive debuts.
