2024 Melissa standout DL Nigel Smith II eyes season-opener with Argyle

Standout 2024 defensive lineman Nigel Smith II‍ and his Melissa Cardinal teammates have been busy. Smith already has college coaches hot on his trail, but his focus has been on his 2022 football season. 

The expectations are high for the Cardinals, and Friday night, they got their first taste of live action as they scrimmaged Grapevine, who specializes in the triple option.
