2022 Brookwood (GA) CB Marquis Groves-Killebrew signs with A&M
Another signing day coup for Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies as highly rated cornerback prospect Marquis Groves-Killebrew has inked with Texas A&M.
Hailing from North Cobb High School in Acworth (GA), Groves-Killebrew was a longtime Georgia Bulldog commit before flipping to the Maroon & White on Signing Day.
A 6-0, 180 pounder, Groves-Killebrew already possesses the requisite skill set to be a high-level SEC cornerback. He has great feet and loose hips. He is physical at the line of scrimmage and shows good strength both in tackling and contesting catches. Marquis shows comfortability in man and zone schemes. He also has impressive straight-line speed. You can view his senior tape below.
Aside from Georgia, Groves-Killebrew held offers from Auburn, Florida, LSU, Ohio State and many others. He becomes the 26th member of Texas A&M’s class and the fifth defensive back for TJ Rushing’s haul.
