Key notes from Eric Dooley interview

• It's exciting to get an opportunity to play Texas A&M, and our guys are ready for the challenge. When you look at the Aggies, they were right in the running to make it to the SEC Championship game going into last weekend. They are well-coached and play exciting football. We understand what's at stake. 
   
• I think this allows us to showcase our talents, and this helps out our school. I always want to do what Prarie View does best, and I want to look at what we can do better. I'm a competitor, and I'm also smart. My guys know I'm going to go into this game to compete. 
   
• I don't think there's ever been a coach that just wants to make it through the game; we want to win. We've come a long way, and I think it's great for the community to play Texas A&M at Kyle Field. 
   
• It starts with our quarterback Jawon Pass, who transferred from Louisville. Lyndemian Brooks, our running back, has been great, and our offensive line has stepped up and played well. 
   
• Jason Dumas and Troy James have led our defense, and they continue to get better every day. We come into this game with a lot of our guys wanting to impress on the biggest stage to get a shot at the next level. I hope we can do that.  
   
• I want to get back into the mindset of being 1-0. We have a chance to make some corrections and move forward after last weekend's loss. We have one conference game left, and we can get to the SWAC Championship game with one more win. This is an opportunity for the players to play on a big stage, this is a great moment for them, but we have to remember to just play football on Saturday.
