Game Notebook: Wydermyer's record, defense comes up big late & more

Sophomore tight end Jalen Wydermyer set a Texas A&M record in the Aggies’ 31-20 victory over Auburn on Saturday.

With touchdown catches of 20 and 10 yards, Wydermyer increased his career total to 12. That’s the most ever for a Texas A&M tight end.

Coming into the game, Wydermyer shared the A&M record for touchdowns by a tight end with Jace Sternberger and Martellus Bennett.

“It means the world to me,” Wydermyer said of the record.
