Great analysis thanks so much for putting these together.

Hoping for a better offensive look this Saturday!

For someone who's been a starter for 4 years, it sounds like Mond still frequently makes terrible decisions.

Not only does it sound like it but we see it with our own eyes.

I knew he had one more AllMond NoJoy performance coming this year and figured it had a good chance of happening last week after the long layoff. Hoping for good Mond to show up this week now that we got through the bad Mond with the win.

QB is not "just" about reads and arm-chair chess matches. If so, all of you play-ground slaps would be Hall of Famers.

It's about rhythm, timing and making split-second decisions under extreme duress and when you sit idle for 2+ weeks you get rusty. Its the same reason when you haven't seen live combat in the Armed Forces or Law Enforcement you don't get thrown right back into the front line.

BTW - Does anyone actually remember just how bad McGee was at handling live action and bullets flying in a much less competitive Big12? I do and it wasn't pretty.

A two week layoff should not result in this much regression. KM has had 3.5 years to get better. He hasn't.
