Am I the only one who thought that Ainias Smith, on that first play in this post, should always keep burning up field instead of trying to cut back?

Can we please stop with the false-narrative that our WR are not fast enough? In this film breakdown you can repeatedly see deep verticals with A&M receivers blowing by the Alabama secondary. If we cannot find a QB that can recognize and execute homerun throws, then we will lose perfectly winnable games going forward.

It really is just that simple. @TheKellenMond your WRs know they are open so if you don't want to lose the locker room entirely, then be more self-aware and critical and call "yourself" out for these misses and explain specifically how you will correct things going forward.

That's what the real "best" QB in the SEC would do and most importantly if you cannot do this, then just step aside and let another QB play in their FR year just like the opportunity you were afforded in 2017.

Has anyone reviewed the last 2 years of Mond and how most of his stats come after the game is 3 to 4 touchdowns out of hand. I watch Josh Pate on 24/7 Sports and he had Mond as a poor performing QB for 2 years. Does Stephen really think this 4 year stater has what it takes? Be real now!

I don't mind them pumping sunshine. But what I font like is how they focus overwhelmingly on the few good plays and reads Mond made during a blowout loss. Seems very disingenuous.

The lack of Mond throwing downfield is why King should start. Mond is nothing more than a crappy game manager if he doesn't run when it's open. With King, he has the "it" factor which could lead to some big plays, both in the QB run game and in the passing game (throws a much more catchable ball). I think we should do with King what Auburn did with Nix last year.

It's the smart thing to do... so that's why I know Jimbo won't do it.
