Texas A&M women's basketball team receives fourth seed in SEC Tournament
On Sunday evening, the 2020 SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament bracket schedule was
released. The event will take place at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina from March 4-8.
The Texas A&M Aggies (22-7, 10-6 SEC) were named the 4th seed of the SEC Tournament, securing a double-bye week and guaranteed quarterfinal appearance along with South Carolina, Mississippi State and Kentucky.
Gary Blair’s Aggie team won the SEC Championship in 2013 and has made an appearance in every SEC tournament since then. For the previous three seasons in a row, the Texas A&M Aggies have advanced to the semifinals.
The first of 13 games will begin on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. EST. The first ten games will air on SEC Network, the semifinals on ESPNU and the final championship game on Sunday, March 8 at 2 p.m. EST on ESPN2.
The Aggies will play the winner of Game 4 on Friday, March 6 at 2:30 p.m. EST on SEC
Network.
