That's the answer to the trivia question of "Who was the first recruit that Jimbo Fisher landed as Texas A&M's head coach? More than two years and a little over two full recruiting cycles later, Sternberger — who went on to earn Consensus All-American honors after a record-breaking 'one and done' season — stands out not only for being the first but also one of the best additions to the Aggie program under Fisher's guidance.
