Amazing how we could only muster a sweet 16 with 4 first-teamers (3 of them being seniors)

Elston Turner should be first team over Middleton. I'll die on this hill.

So basically the starters on the All-Decade team is the 2014-2015 Sweet Sixteen team. I agree with Bob, I'd put Elston as a starter instead of Middleton. Elston in college was more capable of going into 'He's on Fire!' mode that Middleton was in college.

Caruso
Elston
House
Jalen Jones
Tyler Davis

would be my starting 5.

Middleton is the only one that has been an NBA all star and people are leaving him off first team?

I thought about that also, I kind of interpreted it as played the majority of their career in this decade, otherwise Sloan would be an obvious first teamer.

Yeah, how good he is as an NBA player has nothing to do with how good he was here.

DeAndre Jordan is either our best or second best NBA player of all time and MIGHT be second team on a 00's all-decade team?

Eh, I think this is more than numbers though on this. Elston was on two absolute garbage teams (on one of which Middleton missed half the season with an injury) but still went out there and played well anyway.

He also had one of the most memorable single games in A&M history, he had three games where he scored more points than Middleton's best game.

So it's not just the numbers for me on this one.

There were so many possessions where BK would have them run the clock down and then get ET the ball with 5 seconds and expect him to get a shot

Elston was first team all conference with nothing around him and a lousy coach.

I'd have Bryan Davis over him as well as Ak
