Waddle, Alabama offense shine as Aggies cannot stop the Tide

The college football schedule says No. 24 Texas A&M lost 47-28 to No. 1 Alabama on Oct. 12, 2019.

A strong argument could be made that this game was lost on Feb. 7, 2018.

That was national signing day. And on that day, Houston resident Jaylen Waddle ended an intense recruiting battle by signing a letter-of-intent with Alabama rather than Texas A&M.

On that Wednesday, he spurned the Aggies. On Saturday, he burned them.

A mercurial sophomore, Waddle continually juked and nuked the Aggies’ punt coverage to give the Crimson Tide advantageous field position.
