Aggie running backs ready to step up following injury to Jashaun Corbin

Aggie head coach Jimbo Fisher announced on Monday that running back Jashaun Corbin, Texas A&M’s leading rusher, will miss the remainder of the season.

Corbin suffered a severe hamstring injury on a four-yard reception with 9:18 remaining in the third quarter of A&M’s 24-10 loss to No. 1 Clemson on Saturday.

A sophomore from Rockledge, Florida, Corbin has rushed for 137 yards and scored a touchdown this season. He also has six receptions for 16 yards and a touchdown.
