Aggie offense stumbles in disappointing showing against No. 1 Clemson

Should Kellen Mond learn to harness his big-game exuberance, scramble when opportunities allow and take better care of the football, he might indeed live up to his boast as the SEC’s premier quarterback.

He isn’t better than the ACC’s best, though.

Clemson sophomore Trevor Lawrence, who passed for 268 yards and a brilliant 30-yard touchdown, left no doubt about his superiority in a 24-10 victory over the Aggies on Saturday at Death Valley.

Yet, that question wasn’t really answered by what Lawrence did.
