Notes from Olin’s thoughts on Chapman
- Another guy we’ve heard a lot about. Billy reported it that Caleb Chapman was going to be moved into the starting lineup for the Arkansas game in 2018 before he got hurt.
- He’s got speed, good hands and he’s very competitive. Everything we hear about him makes me believe he could be a very good receiver.
- Chapman is everything you want in a wide receiver.
- I’ve heard Chapman compared to Mike Evans. That’s high praise and might be a bit unfair. But if that’s the guy that comes to mind, that is going to open my eyes. I want to see this guy with my own eyes.
- A lot of times, he’s going to draw the number three DB because of A&M’s receiving corps. He’s got a chance to do some amazing things. At the same time, the amazing thing for Chapman might be getting on the field because A&M’s receiving corps is so good.
