New Texas A&M head basketball coach Buzz Williams was one of my coaches when I played under Billy Gillispie, but my relationship with him pre-dated his first stint in College Station. I almost committed to play basketball at Colorado State during my senior year of high school (2002), and the lead recruiter for the Rams at the time was none other than Buzz.
