This was a minor issue where I identified the problem and fixed it.

So much of the typical BS, players clearly trying to say the right things when you know they are holding back. These kinds of interviews are worthless.

Gabe, you know that I am the first to give you guys a hard time about pay/free stuff. So, thanks a million for the bone. You did a great job talking to those guys. I couldn't have held my composure like that. Good questions good video and it was free. Don't let the pissed off posters get to you.

It would at least be inspiring if these guys showed SOME emotion after choking so badly...two weeks in a row. I mean come on, SOMEBODY NEEDS TO GET PISSED THE F*** OFF, go into that locker room and light a fire under their asses.

I think Sherman should be put on short leash for sure. The last job he had was under Gary Kubiak with the Texans. Which run a similar kind of game plan that does not include playing 4 quarters. An "awe shucks" coach isn't gonna work in the SEC, they need a "we're gonna punch you in the #@!%*$@ mouth" coach.

Good job Gabe. Seems like all four had the deer in the headlights look and they are supposed to be the leaders. Seems to me the problem is they have to follow the Coach's orders and that seems to be the problem. Decent game plans for first half attacks. The competition adjusts, but we don't. That said, let's park any reference to wrecking crew. We need a repeat performance for a tradition and all we've really seen is last year's game with Oklahoma.

I don't normally agree with the "coach should be on a short leash" arguements, and I don't fully agree here. My observation of the Arkansas loss was coach related. Arkansas found a ***** in our pass defense and was able to exploit it - our reaction was "pressure the QB", their response was quicker passing. Our response was "more pressure". Didn't work this week, didn't work last week. Defense has got to recognize we can't always get to the QB on a tree step quick pass. As far as offense - my opinion is we are pretty smitten with ourselves and don't understand why the opposition doesn't continue to lay down like they did in the first half. I don't see that from the line, but our skill players seem to panic a bit under pressure. I feel Sherman should have gone for one of the short 4th down plays early, That would have "put the game I'm the players hands" and let them deal with the pressure more directly. It is difficult to explain, but right now our skill players need the opportunity to take some pressure off of themselves. It's pitch and catch every down - even the clutch plays.

The players dont seem to realize what an opportunity a 17-18 point halftime lead is. Its an opportunity to expand it to 40 points and then you can relax. The great teams dont even slow down with that type of lead, especially when they are playing good teams that they know have the ability to come back. Its easy to blame the coaches but players play and coaches coach and you need nasty hard ass guys in the trenchs that love the opportunity to make their opponent want to quit. The defense is a mess but the offense should be putting up 50+ per game!!! And Coach Sherman, it is ok to occasionally show your emotions in front of the cameras. JUST TO MAKE US FEEL GOOD!

That was a tough loss for you guys. I have no idea what happens to you guys in the second half. You guys have a good team you just lose focus or something like that. You guys should have beaten Arkansas. If anything you would have a better chance against Alabama or LSU than Arkansas would. You guys have a very impressive running game and you run defense is good too. Texas A&M was the better team and should have won that game. Welcome to the SEC and can't wait to see you guys next year.

Good teams make adjustments at half time. Great teams understand that the other team is going to make adjustments and prepare for them. You cannot stand there and hope the other team will not exploit your zone defense that leaves the middle of the field wide open. It was silly. The wrecking crew has become the wrecked crew.

I think for a bunch of young men, they displayed remarkable composure, considering they were being interviewed right after a huge loss, virtually identical in its script compared to that of the week before. The last thing any of these players wanted to do was to give a post game interview; and yet their thoughts were collected, and regardless of whether they believed what they were saying, they conveyed positive attitudes in their comments. These are the very qualities that are characteristic of great leaders, and they and their coaches need support rather than discouragement at this critical juncture. This is the same team with the same coaches that turned around dramatically after a dismal loss to Missouri last year. Nobody knows more than these players and coaches what challenges lie ahead. While pressure is largely self-inflicted, it is also significantly influenced by the amount of external support, or lack thereof, that exists. Believe it or not, as we live in a computer age, many of these players regardless of what they're advised to do or not do by their coaches, are visiting texags.com and reading these posts. Be careful, and I should heed this advice as well, what we post. They are, after all, still impressionable young men, and any seed of self-doubt that is planted can often be reinforced by negative commentary, and may further play a role in their performances. Stay positive, and hopefully they will. After all, they are doing all the work on the field, while we merely observe. I have no doubt they are striving to improve every game. Now beat the hell outta tech!

I couldn't really even listen to them..I am so disgusted with the Texas A&M football product..I need to see some actions and less words.
