Locked in a tight struggle for this first time this basketball season, Texas A&M couldn’t hit — or miss — when it mattered most. As a result, the No. 7 Aggies (7-1) suffered a 67-64 loss to Arizona in the Valley of the Sun Shootout in Phoenix.
Trailing 65-62 with two seconds remaining, Duane Wilson was fouled attempting a three-pointer that just rimmed out. He went to the foul line with a chance force overtime with three free throws. However, he missed the first.
