Love listening to Ratley's interviews. He gives such honest and complete answers, and he mostly avoids the usual coach-speak responses. He has worked so hard, both on and off the field, to excel. Definitely my favorite interview taker since Deshazor Everett. Great kid!

Got to agree about ratley. Kid has really raised his game. I think he's got a chance at the next level. Glad to see it. He's taken a lot of heat. Apologize for my part in that. He's proven me and a lot of other people wrong.

I hope Coach has learned to use the approach he has employed the last 4 or 5 games to press conferences going forward. I believe it will buy him credibilty going forward. He lost the smugness, he answers questions more directly. He doesn't try and act like no one sees what he says. Ie, addressed the bad snaps as an issue is not throwing your players under the bus when everyone in the stadium sees the same thing. He took responsibility from the game management in the fourth quarter......said "we", "I" decide to use the clock. All subtle changes I believe wil serve him well going forward.

Agree. He takes responsibility for players actions this year. Kinda refreshing. I'm for giving him one more year because I think Starkel is going to be good..

But we also habe Clemson on the schedule next year

Probably knowing that he's likely fired at year's end relieved a lot of stress and allowed him to unwind. But it is refreshing to see.
