Explosive Ole Miss passing attack poses test for young A&M secondary

November 14, 2017

Big pass plays have been a thorn in the side of Texas A&M’s defense.

That’s cause for great concern because the Aggies (6-4) face Ole Miss this weekend — the Southeastern Conference football version of a cactus.

True, the Rebels (5-5) have struggled much of the season, but not because of their passing game. In fact, Ole Miss leads the SEC with 48 passing plays that have covered at least 20 yards.

“They have a lot of playmakers on the outside,” A&M senior safety Armani Watts said on Tuesday.
