Defense in Review: Mississippi State 35, Texas A&M 14

• The Aggies had what John Chavis would consider a bad game because Mississippi State's patience and ability to methodically march down the field eventually broke an A&M defense that, for the most part, hung in and made the Bulldogs earn what they got. Two of State's touchdown drives could have ended in quick three-and-outs were it not for a pair of perfect third-down throws by Nick Fitzgerald (more on that in a moment).
