Defense in Review: No. 1 Alabama 27, Texas A&M 19
• The Aggies did all kinds of things right against a powerful Alabama offense on Saturday night. A&M held 'Bama to just four third down conversions on 14 attempts, forced five punts, sacked an elusive Jalen Hurts three times, stiffened three times to force Tide field goal tries (Andy Pappanastos went 2 of 3) and was the first team to force an Alabama turnover in nearly 700 snaps and since last year's Iron Bowl (a seven-plus game streak). The Tide scored 27 points, their second-lowest point total of the season ('Bama produced 24 in the season-opening win over Florida State) and managed just 355 yards, also their second-lowest total behind the FSU game.
