Dealing with key injuries, Aggies putting deflating loss in rear view

Texas A&M fans may be frustrated by the loss to the Bruins, but according to coach Kevin Sumlin, the Aggie team and coaching staff are even more pained by the stunning defeat. Now, the Maroon and White must move on to Nicholls State.

Those upset by Texas A&M’s shocking 45-44 football loss to UCLA can find solace in knowing coach Kevin Sumlin is upset, too. In a Tuesday press conference, Sumlin expressed frustration at the loss, in which the Aggies squandered a 34-point lead in the second half.

The collapse moved a member of the Texas A&M board of regents to publicly criticize Sumlin via social media.

“People are frustrated. I'm frustrated. I'm not happy,” Sumlin said.
