I'm tired of Sumlin saying he's harder on himself than anyone else.

If so:
1. The people around him aren't hard enough on him.
2. He wouldn't have gotten on the plane after the game.

Because if it were my decision, he would have been fired last night. But, I would have fired him long ago.

All coach speak... but the bottom line is he and his staff never provided an answer / different scheme to the players on how to stop UCLA passing

All we had to do was run the play clock down to 2 seconds and we win. That's it. Each snap we too at at 24 seconds , 25, 22 it cost us the game. A 10 year old could have seen that. You can't fix that in a coach.

These kids won't play for Sumlin anymore. They know they played hard and he lost them the game. The confidence will be gone. They won't have any confidence in mond and all their families will be asking "why didn't jake play some? At least give him a shot". The kids know. They are young and resilient but this season is not going to work out well

No kidding.

He says that he "spoke to" both Jake and Kellen about Jake playing. What does that mean? He's the coach. Not some facilitator of some bullcrap break out session.

Is Buzbee the only one at A&M with a sack on him?

I swear. Listening to this guy is like listening to Obama. It's incoherent babbling nonsense.

How long does @kevinsumlin get to "review the tape, correct mistakes, and get them ready for next week"? We've been hearing this same B.S. for four years. But he never really corrects anything. What are they doing to correct THEIR OWN mistakes...COACHES mistakes? It was evident early in the second half that UCLA had adjusted and that MOND was not the answer to those adjustments? Why did we not then "adjust" as well and put Hubes in? He actually said he thought we managed the clock well...early on. WTF? Early on is not the question DB! He commented that Gibson ate us up over the middle...can we not adjust mid game? Inexcusable. This is 100% on Sumlin! He should be gone! #FIRESUMLIN

Some people make things happen. Some people watch things happen.

Sumlin watched Manziel play. Now he watches A&M basically create one of College Footballs epic fails.

Years from now when Sumlin is living in his multi-million dollar home in an exclusive golf course community and after returning from a yacht vacation, there will still be discussions and articles on College Football's greatest losers.

Sumlin will think back and say , "yes, I remember watching that heartbreaking loss."

A&M will still be searching for a coach that makes thing happen.

If the coaching staff peddled or sold the defense on the old soft shoe "give a little, but don't let 'em get behind you" strategy, in lieu of smash mouth, balls to the wall, ram it down their throat football - then I'd say the coaching staff is a bit naive. In the Big Twelve or the SEC it is either dominate or be dominated !
