Seeing the Field: Texas A&M depth chart notes & observations

Just a few team notes and some of my thoughts as the Ags' highly-anticipated and nationally-televised season opener at UCLA fast approaches:

• For starters, I wouldn't pay too much attention to yesterday's depth chart. These days, it seems more and more head coaches are putting out their initial depth chart of the season for one reason and one reason only: because the media continues to ask and clamor for it.
