Texas A&M completed its twelfth football practice of the fall on Saturday. After practice, Head Coach Kevin Sumlin and kicker Daniel LaCamera spoke to the media about team progress and giving increasing attention to the opener at UCLA.

Didn't feel the enthusiasm in that interview at all. Something about a defense that was ranked around 80th last year shutting down our passing game makes me somewhat skeptical. Give it to Mond. He can handle what is going to be a tough season. His run option ability along with some passing to Kirk, Ausbon, and H Jones wil be what keeps us interested. "Regulators, mount up".

Yes, I agree completely. And would be more worried if it it were the other way around.

It is AWESOME that the defense is ahead of the offense finally. We all b**ch and groan about how we want the defense to be better, this is a sign of that improvement we have all been wanting.
