Texas A&M secures commitment from 2018 Manvel RB Deneric Prince

Last Sunday, Texas A&M held a football camp on campus that saw over 600 kids compete throughout the morning and evening sessions. Manvel RB Deneric Prince was the star of that camp. He earned himself an offer with that performance and wasted little time before making his pledge to the Aggies on Friday morning.


The 6-2, 200 pound all-purpose back brings the Aggies' 2018 class to ten total commits, and Prince is the first (and will probably remain the only) running back in the fold. He chose A&M over UCLA, Louisville, Kansas, SMU and Purdue.

Nice pickup. I love watching RB highlight tape.

He isn't a burner, but I like his size and seems to have vision and time his cuts well.

He's an every down back that enjoys walks on the beach and killing baby turtles. Early draft predictions have him going in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL draft if he chooses to come out early. I think he should stay the full four years making him a likely mid 1st round pick in the 2021 draft. Great pick up.

Does he also play defense in HS? He looks like an athlete who could play defense and special teams if he isn't needed on offense.
