Enter the TexAgs Ring Day Giveaway!

Ring Day is one of the most memorable days for an Aggie, and we decided that we're going to make it even more memorable for two students this year ... by buying them their rings!

To be eligible to win, you must be a student who is getting their ring this Friday. And to enter, all you have to do is post a photo or video of your Ring Day between Friday, April 7th and Wednesday, April 12th on our official Ring Day thread on The Student Section forum (you'll need a verified student TexAgs account, which is free and easy).

The picture or video can be anything you want (feel free to be creative) and we'll pick a few of our favorites and put them up for a vote! The winners — one guy and one girl — will then be announced on Monday, April 17th, and we'll send each one a them big, fat check that will cover the cost of their rings. You can read the official rules here.

Here's how to enter:
1. If you haven't already, register for a TexAgs account (it's free)
2. Get verified as a student (also free)
3. Starting Friday, post your photo or video on the official thread

Annnnd that's it! Congrats and Gig 'em to everyone who earned their ring this year.

Because of the 6000 or so rings being given out this semester they could not have all of the appointment times on Friday so they have set some for Saturday.

My daughter is getting hers on Saturday morning. Can she still participate if she chooses?

Definitely. Students just have to post their photos/videos anytime before the end of next Wednesday, April 12th.

Is this only for students who have already bought their rings for this ring day and not for students who are eligible, but could not afford theirs for ring day? In other words, can I enter if I haven't bought my ring for this ring day?

Yes, anyone who is getting their ring this upcoming ring day is eligible - we're basically going to reimburse the two winners, not pay for the ring in advance.
