Healthy stars, fresh faces prepped to invigorate Texas A&M defense

History shows that Texas A&M once fielded some of the best defensive units in the country. 
But that’s the problem. Great defense at A&M has been history. A return to Wrecking Crew-caliber defenses that terrorized opponents in the ’80s and ‘90s is not imminent.

However, after Wednesday night’s spring practice sessions, coach Kevin Sumlin acknowledged there are signs that the Aggie defense can get better in 2017. It certainly needs to.
