• The focus of spring practice has been more team stuff. We are trying to get the pitchers' innings up, their pitch count up, and trying to play the game fast with pressure.  We need to get our game clock where it needs to be for our first game in 10 days.
  
  
• Jorge Gutierrez has made a big leap from fall ball to now.  He struggled a little bit in the fall.  He’s a switch-hitter and can play anywhere on the field and can play any corner position.
