A lunch invitation arrived via text message.
A friend close to Texas A&M’s football program wanted to continue a discussion we’d previously had about the state of the Aggies.
He even offered to buy.
Who could turn down a free lunch with good company and good conversation?
As typically is the case, I arrived early. When my friend eventually entered the restaurant, he was accompanied by another friend who is also passionate about A&M football.
