Hutto defender Ondario Robinson makes the call to the Aggies
The Texas A&M 2017 recruiting class has reached 20 commits tonight with the addition of Hutto defensive end Ondario Robinson, who chose the Aggies over Texas, Oklahoma, and Arizona State. He also held offers from Georgia, Houston, and Missouri. He last visited A&M unofficially when the Ags hosted UCLA and, like many of the other prospects there, came away very impressed.
The 6-4, 240 pound defender got a chance to show his skill set to Kevin Sumlin recently, as the Aggies' head man was in attendance when Hutto visited Bryan Rudder a few weeks back. Robinson has a great frame with long arms. He has flashed a few nice pass rushing moves on film, but his best attribute right now is his strength and hand placement. Ondario has put together a nice senior year so far for the Hippos, and there's no doubt about the height of his ceiling. This is a kid that will look like an SEC defender after a short time in the nutrition center and with Larry Jackson.
Ondario joins Washington DC's Tyree Johnson as the Ags' defensive end commits. This is a big win for Terry Price. He was the lead man on Ondario for some time, and Robinson has been open with TexAgs about his affinity for not only Price, but for the entire A&M coaching staff.
