It seems like old times – really old times – in the Southeastern Conference.
Like before Steve Spurrier coached Florida old times.
SEC football once relied so heavily on powerful running games and strong defenses that good quarterback play meant executing a flawless hand-off.
After one week of the season it’s clear that quarterback play is the area in which SEC football teams have the most room for improvement.
That’s the nice way of putting it.
