Avery Gennesy is focused.
The Texas A&M senior offensive tackle is focused on improving. Therefore, he’s focusing on details. He’s focusing on being a leader. He’s putting all his focus on the upcoming football season.
He’s not, however, focusing on next year’s NFL draft, even though he could become the fifth straight A&M tackle to be selected in the first round.
“I’m not really focused on that,” said Gennesy, a 6-5, 310-pounder with nimble feet and a long reach.
