Women’s Golf
- No.21 Texas A&M will be in Georgia this weekend for the 3M Augusta Invitational where they will face a 16-team field.
- The Aggies teed off this morning around 9:25 a.m. and will close out the tournament on Monday, March 14.
Women’s Tennis
- No.16 Texas A&M hope to remain undefeated at home this weekend as they face two SEC opponents, No.28 Mississippi State and No.27 Ole Miss.
- A&M is 9-4 overall on the season and 1-1 in the SEC.
- Since joining the SEC the Aggies are 8-0 against Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
- The action begins today at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center at 2:30 p.m. against the Bulldogs and the Aggies will close out the weekend Sunday against the Rebels at 12:00 p.m.
Men’s Tennis
- No.7 Texas A&M will be on the road this weekend taking on No.32 Arkansas today at 3:00 p.m. in Fayetteville and then head to Oxford to take on No.22 Ole Miss on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
- The Aggies are 14-3 overall this season and 2-0 in conference play.
Swimming and Diving
- Texas A&M hosted the 2016 NCAA Zone D Diving Championships this past week and qualified four athletes for the 2016 NCAA Championships which will be held March 16-19 in Atlanta.
- On the women’s side, freshman Alais Kalonji finished 6th with a score of 546.40 in the platform dive competition while junior Madison Hudkins finished 2nd in the three-meter dive with a score of 684.60.
- On the men’s side, sophomore Tyler Henschel finished 2nd in the platform with a score of 767.95 and he also qualified for the three-meter finishing 7th with a score of 753.65.
- Freshman Sam Thornton also qualified for the men finishing 1st in the one-meter springboard with a score of 746.05.
Baseball
- No.3 Texas A&M took down Northwestern State on Tuesday 6-7.
- The Aggies were slated for a Wednesday match up with the Demons but it was canceled due to weather.
- A&M is 12-1 on the season and will stay at home this weekend for a 3 game series against Fresno State.
- The action begins tonight at 6:30 p.m., Saturday’s game starts at 2:00 p.m. and they will wrap up the weekend Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Softball
- Also had a Wednesday match up canceled due to the weather. The Aggies have rescheduled their game against Sam Houston State for April 20th.
- No.10 Texas A&M will host Texas Tech for a three game series this weekend at the Aggie Softball Complex.
- Tonight’s game is slated for 6:00 p.m., Saturday will begin at 3:00 p.m. and then will end the series Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
- The Aggies are 20-2 on the season.
Men’s Basketball
- No.17 Texas A&M is in Nashville this weekend for the SEC Championships.
- Entering the tournament as the No.1 seed, the Aggies will face Florida today at 12:00 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
Track & Field
- The men No.4 and women No.17 sent a combined 18 athletes to compete in 11 events at the 2016 NCAA Indoor Championships in Birmingham Alabama.
- The multi events will begin today around 12:00 p.m. while running prelims and field events finals get going around 5:00 p.m.
- The final day of the meet will be Saturday starting at 12:00 p.m. with the conclusion of the men’s heptathlon and finals at 2:00 p.m.
