Sure, other numbers — like seven in the Bible and 12 in Aggieland — are sacred. But don’t underestimate the importance of five.
After all, you have five fingers. There are five oceans, five Great Lakes and five senses. There were actually five Three Stooges (don’t forget Shemp and Curly Joe).
Additionally, there are five stages of grief. Unfortunately, Texas A&M fans have experienced all of them this football season.
