Each week of the college football season TexAgs’ Olin Buchanan will reveal how he would rank the top five contenders. The rankings reflect how he would vote if the Heisman ballots were due that day. Buchanan has been a Heisman Trophy voter since 1993.

Week 13 Heisman rankings

1. Melvin Gordon, Wisconsin, RB: It seemed the Heisman had become a two-man race between Oregon’s Marcus Mariota and Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott.
