• The loss evened the overall series between the Aggies and Bulldogs at 4-4.

• Already the team leader in TD catches, sophomore transfer Josh Reynolds grabbed his sixth of the season to culminate the Aggies’ first drive of the game. Reynolds tacked on a second touchdown in the fourth quarter, giving seven on the season.
• A&M had a trio of receivers with seven or more catches on the day (Seals-Jones 10, Neiderhofer 8, Reynolds 7), it was the first time this season the Aggies accomplished the feat. The last time the Aggies had three receivers with seven or more catches was Nov. 24, 2012 against Missouri (W, 59-29; Mike Evans 8, Ryan Swope 7, Kennedy 7).
• Sophomore QB Kenny Hill became the second player in school history to reach the 2,000-yard plateau in total offense in the sixth game of a season. Two-time All-SEC quarterback Johnny Manziel did it the past two seasons.
• Making his first start of 2014 was senior OG Jarvis Harrison. It was the 32nd start of his career.
• The Aggies scored a touchdown on their initial offensive series of the game. It marked the fifth time in six games that the Aggies have scored on their opening drive, including four touchdowns.
• The Aggies have scored first in every game in 2014. During the Kevin Sumlin era (since 2012), the Aggies have scored first in 29-of-32 games.
• The fourth quarter TD by MSU QB Dak Prescott after the interception was the first fourth-quarter TD allowed by the Texas A&M defense in 2014.
• Junior Sam Moeller was the Aggies’ 12th Man for the 19th straight game.
