Before we dive into what went wrong for the A&M defense on Saturday night, let’s start with a number more important than any statistic you might want to throw out as evidence of a bad night.
Ten.
That’s ten as in ten points allowed despite the fact that the Aggie defense was on the field for three-quarters of the game. One touchdown and one field goal and that’s it.
Sure, the Owls missed a chip-shot field goal and had another blocked, but that doesn’t matter.
