DISH rep talks distribution deal with ESPN, SEC Network
Key notes from Dish Network:
- Currently, Dish is the only nation-wide provider carrying The SEC Network.
- If you subscribe to Dish, you will be able to see every single Texas A&M football game in 2014.
- Dish allows users the ability to access the DVR function, which allows users to stream live and recorded content wherever there is internet access.
- Through Dish, The SEC Network will be available in HD immediately upon the launch.
- Moving forward, ESPNU and ESPN News will also be availble in HD on Dish.
- The most popular option available on Dish is "America's Top 120 Plus". 'Plus' means adding the sports premium channels. As long as you subscribe to "America's Top 120 Plus" or one of the higher packages, you will have the SEC Network.
- Having a package that includes The SEC Network means you will also have The Longhorn Network.
- The SEC has done a really great job building a brand presence. Dish is excited to offer the opportunity to show off the SEC to a national audience.
