Cover Story: Short-handed win buys time to prepare

The day that Aggies have been saying for months ‘couldn’t get here soon enough’ finally arrived ... and absolutely no one wanted to block out the drama and distractions and just play the game more than Kevin Sumlin, Johnny Manziel and the rest of the A&M football team.

After four hours in the sweltering late-August sun the Aggies walked off of Kyle Field with a solid three-touchdown victory — but it was far from the feel-good victory that Sumlin and the A&M faithful were hoping to see.
