Post-spring snapshot: Reload or restart at wide receiver?

A strong, experienced helped boost the Aggies' offense in 2012, but the majority were lost to graduation. None can deny the level of talent A&M will bring in as replacements, but will they acclimate quickly enough?

On his way to becoming the first freshman Heisman Trophy recipient, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel completed 295 passes.

Each one, obviously, was caught by an A&M receiver.

However, more than half of those completions went to receivers that are no longer of the Aggies’ roster. Gone is A&M’s all-time leading receiver Ryan Swope. Gone is deep threat Uzoma Nwachukwu. Gone is steady Kenric McNeal. Long gone is promising freshman Thomas Johnson.
