The Texas A&M Equestrian team won the National Collegiate Equestrian Association National Championship in Waco on Saturday. Ranked fifth entering the contest, they defeated both TCU and Georgia to claim the title.
After a tough loss on the road against No. 5 Georgia, the Aggies returned home and fought hard against the Auburn Tigers. The team will host their last home meet March 10 against No. 10 TCU at 11 a.m.
Texas A&M Equestrian hosted its first home meet of the season this week, and the No. 2 Aggies took down the No. 8 Gamecocks easily. Texas A&M won Fences, Reigning and Horsemanship en route to its second win of the year.
