Under the Lights: Bobby Brown's decision, critical visit weekend
Texas A&M is on the verge of a huge recruiting weekend with a large contingent of prospects set to visit Aggieland and Arlington Lamar DE Bobby Brown's commitment just hours away. The TexAgs recruiting team sums up the biggest news inside.
New official visitor and a couple interesting adds
Didn't want this to get lost in the visitor list thread, but the Aggies have added some very interesting names to the scheduled attendees Saturday night. The most notable name is Centennial (CA) QB Tanner McKee. McKee is one of the more highly rated QB's on the West Coast but will go on a mission trip once completing high school. Because of that, I've been told he's more like a 2020 recruit. Kevin Sumlin was out in California to see him last week. I saw him at the Nike Opening Regionals in Houston early this year. He can really sling it and was invited to the Elite 11 this year. He's scheduled to be in town on an official. Another name that should excite A&M fans is Oak Ridge DE Joseph Ossai. He's set his official to Aggieland next week versus Auburn so this will be back to back weekends in College Station. We got a lot of questions about the Texas' momentum here, and it looks like the Aggie staff is going all hands on deck to combat that. Lastly, Klein Collins LB Donavan Mutin was a name that Looch actually floated out there a long time ago. The UH commit is insanely productive for one of the best defenses in the Houston area. Could he be in line for an offer? His presence in Aggieland this weekend could be a step in that direction. Go check his film. Really good player.
