On Marcus Stripling...
Just spoke with Katy Mayde Creek DE Marcus Stripling who is wrapping up a 3 day trip to College Station. Without going into too much detail, not much has changed in terms of where he stands with Texas A&M. The bond he's formed with the current players and commits is carrying a lot of weight. We all knew he was tight with Braedon Mowry, but he's also starting to form some strong bonds with Jeffery Carter, Bobby Wolfe, and Kenyon Green, as well as guys on the team like Jordan Moore and Max Wright. The most relevant piece of news is that Stripling still believes he'll take some official visits. He said A&M would get one for sure, and he also mentioned LSU and Alabama. Outside of those three, he said he was unsure if he would take the other two, and if he did, where they would be. Still no definitive timetable here. I remain rather comfortable calling the Aggies the leaders though.

Scattershooting the 2018 Texas A&M Football Signing Class: Part 2
With Jimbo Fisher's first recruiting class mostly in the books at Texas A&M, it's time to take a wide view of how the Aggies fared on National Signing Day. Billy Liucci breaks down the class Fisher's staff inked on a short schedule in the final piece of this two-part series.

Fast Houston invading College Station
I've been told this Saturday, elite 7-on-7 team Fast Houston will be making the trip to College Station. The elite travel team was good to the Aggies in the 2018 class, and it's clear they'll be targeted again in future classes. Fast alums that inked with the Aggies include Caleb Chapman, Jordan Moore, and Leon O'Neal, and the Ags just missed out alum Jaylen Waddle. Current players on the Fast roster to watch are:California DB Chris Steele Cuero ATH Jordan Whittington Alief Hastings CB JaCorey Benjamin Alvin CB Marques Caldwell (Oregon)2020 New Caney ATH Dwight McGlothern 2020 Shadow Creek S Xavion Alford 2020 Lancaster ATH Lorando Johnson 2021 Katy QB Bronson McClelland Team Texas Elite made a similar move two weekends before National Signing Day and had an enormous display of talent on hand in Aggieland as well.
