There is a really long thread in M&W where apparently the poster JTaylor swore up and down that he wasn't the same J Taylor ref. I think his threats were limited to butthurt emails to staff.

After the Texas game - J Taylor posted one time, was immediately called out by wbt and Unthought Known, and he was never seen from again.

Then mysteriously, staff began to simply assure us that it wasn't him after he made contact with staff. Yet the poster J Taylor, who routinely explained referee calls and defended the actions of referees, never posted again. Why the fear to post again?

Bottom line, it was effing him, and staff was scared to out the guy and throw caution to the wind in the legal arena.
