#1...in 1989 or 1988 I was the game at LSU and we won and LSU fans were throwing their chairs at us. Then they started a fight with my friend and I after the game. All I heard before the game was **ck you Aggie. Worse fans ever.

#2...1989 LSU beat top ranked A&M in baseball. A&M won 58 games that year, but couldn't get it done to get into the CWS.

1989 was my Sr year. I made every baseball game.

I watched A&M/Arkie play until after 1 am in a multiple OT game. College record at the time.

I watched John Byington win two games on a Sunday against UT by hitting a 9th inning walk off homer in each game. He was incredible that year. Wood bats were not his thing later in his career unfortunately.

Then came LSU. We lost two Sunday games and the best team in the nation stayed home from the CWS. I am not so mad at them in football though.

That ain't no lie...but OU 2003 maybe worse.

For the same reason I hate tt, t.u., Ohio State, and OU and it all comes down to the "quality" of the fan base.

I know that somewhere, their are decent people that support the above mentioned schools however, during gametime, their are nowhere to be found.

We don't make Katrina references. That's bad bull.

Because they have warped my 16-year-old nephew's fragile little mind into thinking they are a good school! He actually wants to go there! I've told him that he wouldn't fit in there, since he can read.

Not even close, I was in the stands at Olsen in 1989 and was in the stands at Norman during 77-0

its not comparable, 1989 was much much worse.

when youre terrible and get drummed by one of the best teams in the country that is not quite the same as being considered the best of all time and getting beaten twice at your home field one step away from the CWS.

Good grief. I can sometimes understand mistaking their and there like in the first case, but their and they're? And both of them in the same sentence?

T-shirt lsu fans are nearly as bad as tu fans. Having lived in southern Mississippi, it is amazing at how many people will claim lsu as their team (football only, of course). Their fan base is on par with tceh, and I've yet to find anything I respect about the school. All my LA family has been talking a lot of crap, and so I can't wait to watch the Ags BTHO lsu!

I have to agree - the 89 baseball loss was the worst moment for me in A&M sports. I too was in the stands and when KT was out at 1st, and we lost 5-4, I was numb. It jump started LSU and gorilla ball (and all of their titles in the 90's).

Purple and old gold is too "fancy."

Aggie has it right. That 1989 loss in baseball ranks as the absolute worst moment in A&M sports history. I still get angry when I realize what the Ags lost on that inglorious Sunday.

Losing to blOU 0-77 was far easier to handle than losing to blOU 16-17 a couple of years later.

I was born in Houston and had to grow up near the inbred corndog lovin swamp slime. There are way to many of them that have oozed their way into this great state.

bjraggie10 has it right. LSU T-shirt fans can be idiots, actually worse than tu.

I interact with LSU graduates on a regular basis. In dealing with their graduates or current students, I have a positive attitude towards them. The common tendency of t-shirt fans is what they lack in intellect, they make up with purchasing power at Wal-mart.

When you drink too much Budweiser or Jax Beer (both are brewed with rice, the staple of existence to live in LA), obnoxious activities can result.

My worst LSU moment was my fish year in 1971. Bert Jones was the LSU QB and he was awesome that night. We had beaten them in 1970 on a last-second pass to Hugh McElroy and the swamp kitties were seeking revenge. As a result, we were "outscored" in 1971.

As a CT in uniform, we had to walk around in packs of 10 or more around Tiger Stadium to keep from having to fight. I was in the lower level of the SE corner of Tiger Stadium and had an empty whiskey bottle break in the aisle beside me thrown by an LSU fan from above.

Overall, LSU folks are not as bad at a home game, in my opinion, as the ttu fans at a game in Lubbuttocks. What a bunch of anal sphincters.

I agree. About half of the kids at my high school are t-shirt LSU fans. And I live in Houston. It makes me so angry.

At least most of the senior class is coming around and realizing how awful LSU is as a school

It was in Fall 88 or Fall 89 when LSU came to Kyle Field...I don't remember much of the game as opposed to what the LSU fans did after. About 8-10 drunk LSU folks relieved their bladders on the grass of the Memorial Student Center...needless to say, both CTs and Non-regs had an Ol' Army Rumble with the LSU folks (and the Tiger fans got the ever living beat outta them...saved by the University Cops I hope our Ags beat the crap outta LSU anytime, anywhere...
